Cantina Bolzano Weissburgunder, also known as Pinot Bianco, comes from selected hillside vineyards around Bolzano, planted between 300 and 750 meters above sea level. The vineyards are farmed using organic practices, with dry, loamy, calcareous soils and significant day to night temperature variation.

Pinot Bianco has been part of Alto Adige’s wine culture since the mid 19th century. At Cantina Bolzano, carefully selected grapes are gently pressed and fermented in stainless steel at controlled temperatures, with the wine also matured in stainless steel to preserve its freshness and crisp character.

The wine is bright straw yellow with greenish hues, offering aromas of yellow apple and pear, with hints of peach and pineapple. Fresh and generous on the palate, it has a persistent finish and the balance and freshness that make Alto Adige Pinot Bianco so appealing.
