Cellar Notes: El Suelo is back! This vintage includes four different grape varieties, from three different vineyards within the Lake Michigan Shore AVA to create one exciting wine! All of these varieties were fermented separately and aged in a mixture of French oak barrels and stainless steel tanks. Once blended, the wine went into a large stainless steel tank to preserve the inherent fruit characteristics and aromas. It was then gently cross-flow filtered & bottled early to save the fruit-forward aspect of the wine. If you enjoy reds that are light on their feet, you’ll love El Suelo!
