BOS Wine 2022 'Methode Agricole' Valvin Muscat Petillant Naturel, Michigan (Grand Traverse)

Vineyard Notes: The Valvin Muscat comes from Crystal Vista Vineyards, owned by Mike and Darlene Heuser, outside of Interlochen. Valvin Muscat is a hybrid cross between Muscat Ottonel (Vitis vinifera) and hybrid Muscat du Moulin (Couderc 299-35). It is a winter hardy hybrid perfect for the Northern Michigan terroir.

Tasting Notes: Grapes fermented dry, followed by a light filtration. The Valvin is aromatic while the Pinot Blanc gives it structure. This sparkling is extremely quaffable with light bubbles and acidity. Enjoy this highly aromatic sparkling with lovely floral notes, peach skin, and hints of spice.
