Vineyard Notes: Grapes come from a single plot within the estate vineyard in the Los Chacayes IG inside the Uco Valley wine region. The vineyard, planted in 2012, is located at 3,600 feet above sea level and is organically farmed. 

Winemaking Notes: Grapes are foot trodden whole cluster and then fermented with native yeast for 21 days in 1 ton bins. The wine ages for 11 months in 225-liter French oak barrels before being bottled lightly filtered. 

Tasting Notes: The nose is dusty with notes of cherry, cinnamon, and crushed dry leaves. The palate comes out with crunchy red fruit, blueberry, a little Hubba Bubba pink bubble gum quality, and then finishes with a nice backbone of tannin and fresh acidity.
