Vineyard Notes: This wine is a field blend of Grenache, Monastrell, and Syrah from a single, sustainably farmed vineyard. The soil is comprised of calcareous river stones.

Winemaking Notes: The three varieties are co-fermented, 100% whole cluster, in a 3,000-liter unlined cement egg. Fermentation occurs with native yeasts. 50% of the grapes age in used oak barrels while the remaining ages in concrete. The wine is bottled unfiltered.

Tasting Notes: The nose is earthy and muddled with hints of blackberry and cherry with undertones of forest floor, fungi, bay leaf, and leather. The palate is juicy and lush with black fruits, currant, and fine grained tannins that lead to a light finish of clove and cinnamon.

    Well-layered, with dried herb and orange peel notes to the mineral-accented berry and cherry flavors, which are sneakily juicy and linger nicely on the finish around fine tannins.

    Garnet-red with a brick-dust sheen. The nose shows strawberry and herb hints with a subtle layer of oak. Juicy and vibrant, the tannins are taut and reactive, creating a tart palate before the lingering, saline finish. This is a distinctively lean, flavorful wine.
