Vintage Notes: Yakima Valley 2022 had possibly some of the finest conditions for this fragrant varietal. The cold winter with a heavy snowpack provided cooler and moist conditions throughout spring. The summer was intense but short that led into a beautiful long fall so that we could pick perfectly ripe fruit into late October.

Winemaking Notes: This wine was cellared in 40% new French Oak barrels for 16 months. The fruit was harvested from Red Willow Vineyard, Outlook Vineyard, and Union Gap Estate from 9/22 – 10/27.

Tasting Notes: The 2022 Cabernet Franc Rosa Mystica is more old world in nature and will age spectacularly well. The wine is aromatic and briary, with red fruits and forest floor flavors and dark cocoa notes on the finish.
