Vineyard Notes: In the province of Teramo, the estate dominates the fertile valley of the Vibrata, lying at 240 meters above sea level. The soil is calcareous and stony which is excellent for drainage. The moderating breezes from the sea, which is 15 km from the estate, allow for perfect ripening. The vines are 20-40 years old. No herbicides or pesticides are used in the vineyards and the grapes are grown using organic practices.

Winemaking Notes: The grapes are manually harvested and softly pressed followed by a maceration on the skins for 10 hours at cool temperatures in a horizontal tank with a submerged cap. The low temperature preserves the floral aromas of the grapes. Cold static decanting is followed by spontaneous fermentation in stainless steel tanks. After 24 months on the lees with weekly batonnage, the wine spends an additional 6 months aging in bottle before release.

Tasting Notes: The wine is a light straw color with emerald reflections. The bouquet is delicate and fruity with hints of white flowers. On the palate the wine is fresh and inviting with bright fruit and an easy drinking style with a pleasing hint of bitter almonds in the aftertaste.

Pairings: This wine pairs perfectly with seafood dishes, risottos with scampi, spaghetti with clams, sole in white wine, or fresh cheeses.
