Vineyard Notes: From the east facing Am Gfillberg Vineyard which sits at over 600 meters and is composed of Dolomite rock and clay. This vineyard produces a more structured and tightly wound wine.
Winemaking Notes: The Weissburgunder (also called Pinot Blanc) ferments spontaneously with indigenous yeasts in old 500-liter barrels. After malolactic fermentation, the wine spends an additional 9 months on its lees before moving to stainless for natural settling over 6+ months.
