Vineyard Notes: Grapes are sourced from a single, 6-acre vineyard in the Lo Ovalle subregion of the Casablanca Valley. The vineyard was planted in 2004 at an altitude of 1,000 feet. This coastal microclimate benefits from fog, diurnal shifts in temperature, and the clay on granite soil. Both the vineyard and the winery are certified sustainable.
Winemaking Notes: Grapes macerate for two hours. Fermentation lasts for around 20 days. The wine ages in stainless steel tanks for three months and is lightly filtered before bottling.
Tasting Notes: This rose shows notes of fresh citrus, crushed stone, passion fruit, grapefruit rind, and watermelon on the nose. The palate is high toned with bright acid, red fruit, and peach flavors that lead to a mouthwatering finish. A solid crushed wet rock backbone and watermelon juice notes.
