Vineyard Notes: This wine is a blend of three clones produced from a single vineyard named Fundo Belén located in the Casablanca Valley. The vineyard was planted in 2004.

Winemaking Notes: The Pinot Noir grapes are harvested by hand. The wine matures for 10 months in used French oak barrels of multiple sizes and is then bottle aged for 9 months before release.

Tasting Notes: The granite soils and cool, coastal climate produce a fresh, vibrant and aromatic wine. It shows bright red fruit notes of strawberry and cherry, with an underlying hint of oak, that leads to a lifted midpalate and smooth, velvety finish.

"A sleeper hit of the tasting, Chile’s value-driven Prisma project showcases the foggy, cool-climate coastal terroir of the Lo Ovalle subregion of the Casablanca Valley. While they also make a respectable Sauvignon Blanc and a nervy Rosé, Prisma’s pinot noir is a clear standout, bursting with crunchy sour cherry fruit and juicy acidity and avoiding the common pitfalls (excess tannin, extraction, etc.) of the canned red category."
