Zorzal 2022 'Terroir Unico' Rose, Gualtallary

Vineyard Notes: Grapes come from the 12 acre Tupungato Winelands vineayard planted in 2008 in Gualtallary. The sustainably farmed vineyard is at 4,600 feet above sea level and is planted to chalk, granite, and alluvial soils.

Winemaking Notes: The juice macerates with the skins for about one day or less. The wine is fermented with native yeasts in stainless steel and is lightly filtered before bottling.

Tasting Notes: The pale pink wine is crisp and vibrant with notes of strawberry, raspberry, and fresh cut watermelon that is held up by a mineral backbone. The finish is refreshing with hints of ripe fig, tangerine, and crushed wet rock.
