Vineyard Notes: The Cabernet Franc is sourced from the 20-acre Zorzal estate vineyard in Gualtallary. They were planted in 2016 on various alluvial soils composed of chalk, sandy granite, and stones.
Winemaking Notes: Grapes are manually harvested a little earlier than most in Mendoza to retain freshness and acidity. No stem inclusion. Following a 15-day fermentation, the wine ages for 6 months in concrete. Only indigenous yeast are used.
Tasting Notes: The nose shows creamy red raspberry and blackberry fruit with underlying notes of blueberry, fig, and white pepper. It is a fruit-forward wine with a layered midpalate and held together by a firm tannin structure.
