Luca Bambara 2024 'Bambara da Casa' Red, Terre Siciliane IGP

This organic blend of 70% Nero d’Avola and 30% Cattarato comes from 30-year-old vines in Alcamo, planted at 250 meters on sandy, limestone and marine deposit soils. The grapes are hand harvested and co-fermented in stainless steel for eight days before being pressed and racked off the lees after malolactic fermentation. The wine is aged in stainless steel with no fining or filtration and only a small addition of sulfur at bottling. The result is a fresh, fruit-driven Sicilian red with the natural character of both native varieties.
