Les Lunes Wine 2025 Pinot Noir, Petaluma Gap

Vineyard Notes: Grapes come from the Cayetana Ranch, an incredible northern Marin County site in the Petaluma Gap. A gorgeous South eastern aspect with some of the only alkaline soils on the CA coast.

Winemaking Notes: Grapes are hand harvested and then separated to go through different fermentation methods - Carbonic Maceration, Reversée style, direct press and partial whole cluster fermentation. The wines were racked off the gross lees in November 2025 and blended. It was then aged in stainless steel tanks and 300 gal HDPE Flextank before being racked and bottled in February 2026.

Tasting Notes: This wine captures Pinot Noir’s distinct flavors with structure, fruit, and freshness rarely tasted in California. It blends the juicy red fruit style of Cru Beaujolais with the intense cherry of California Pinot, all nicely framed with Pinot’s classic earthy tones. A fresh take on California Pinot noir.
