Vineyard Notes: This is a single vineyard sherry sourced from Pago Carrascal. Pago Carrascal is inland, which means less influence from the Atlantic Ocean. The grapes ripen early and create more robust juice, which is ideal for oloroso sherries.
Tasting Notes: Light Mahogany with dark bronze trim. Intense, noble wood aromas with nutty background, roasted coffee and cocoa beans. Re minding one of marron glacé (chestnut candy). The wine has a full body with loads of complexity. It is balanced with concentrated but smooth oak aging tones. Long and smoky aftertaste.
