Location Notes: Can Sumoi is located in the Montmell Mountains, Baix Penedès, which is about a 45-minute drive southwest from Raventos i Blanc. Can Sumoi has been an agricultural farm since 1645. Pepe Raventós and Francesc Escala purchased this estate with the desire to produce wines that reflect the special terroir. All of the Can Sumoi wines are produced with ancestral traditions and free from additives. These are high altitude natural wines.

The estate is planted only with local grapes. Xarel-lo is the variety that best represents the Penedés and shows its terroir, a shy variety with many aromatic nuances that surprise over time. Vinified without intervention, without aging, for the most sincere expression of the variety.

Vintage Notes: The 2022 vintage was dry and brought concentration and roundness to the wines. Very healthy harvest, of quality and without fungal pressure.
