Based in Vernou-sur-Brenne, Denis Meunier represents the next generation of classic Vouvray producers. Since taking over his family's estate in 2012, Denis has focused on highlighting the region's limestone, clay, and flint soils through precise, low-intervention winemaking and a growing commitment to organic farming. Working with old-vine Chenin Blanc, some over 60 years old, he produces wines that are bright, mineral-driven, and unmistakably Vouvray. Fermented primarily with native yeasts and aged on their fine lees, the wines balance freshness, texture, and purity while staying true to the terroir that has defined the estate for nearly a century.
