Sulseam Brewery is a pioneer of contemporary Korean sool. The brewery was founded in 2012 by a group of passionate sool enthusiasts from diverse professional backgrounds. Bringing fresh perspectives to Korea’s traditional drinking culture, the team set out to explore what sool has been and what it can become.

At the heart of Sulseam’s work is a deep respect for Korean tradition. The brewery sources local ingredients from the Gyeonggi Province. The team also researches historic Korean manuscripts and traditional recipes, using them as a foundation for understanding and recreating styles of sool that might otherwise be lost.

Rather than simply preserving the past, Sulseam uses tradition as a starting point for experimentation. The brewery continually explores new expressions, applying old techniques and ideas in creative ways while remaining committed to careful production and quality. Adventurous and forward-thinking, Sulseam represents a new generation of Korean producers bringing centuries of sool culture into the present.
