Founded in 1915, by Armand-Rapahel Graser, AR Lenoble is now owned and vinified by great grandchildren Anne and Antoine Malassagne.

Since it was established, AR Lenoble has existed free from outside investors, allowing for total control over their singular house style — like the incredibly rare choice to use entirely estate owned Grand Cru Chardonnay in every one of their cuvees. And their commitment to produce what Anne says are wines of ‘breadth and fullness, but also structured and vibrant verticality on the finish’ doesn’t end there. Beyond a longstanding commitment to organic farm practices (vines ripe with tall grass and bees) Anne and Antoine take extra care in the cellar. The house never uses taille, and is unafraid to push back against certain standards in regards to dosage and ageing, especially if the consequence is a champagne that is complex, full of tension and true to its terroir.
