Reviews

  • The Wine Advocate
    Rating: 91 (4/3/2025)

Bottled under screw cap, the 2022 Chardonnay is perfumed and refreshing. It has pretty scents of poached pears, white peach, marzipan and beeswax. The medium-bodied palate pairs rich fruit with a rounded texture (half the wine was barrel fermented). It’s balanced by mouthwatering acidity and has a pure, flavorful finish.

    Rating: 90 (10/23/2025)

White flowers mix with hints of almond paste and apricots as the 2022 Chardonnay evolves in the glass. It punches well above its weight class, with silken textures. A tantalizing core of acidity lifts notes of butterscotch as mineral-inflected pit fruits settle on the senses. The 2022 cleans up nicely, leaving a pleasant inner tension and mineral tinge.

    Rating: 90 (7/10/2025)

The 2022 Chardonnay is 100% varietal and barrel-fermented, a real wine as the name suggests. The first vintage was 2022. Rich, balanced, and fruity, this medium-bodied wine tastes of brioche and tangerine. Herbal, earthy undercurrents ride beneath the supple texture of moderate length and easygoing approachability. Drink now.
