Maybach Family Vineyards 2023 Chardonnay, Irmgard Vineyard, Sonoma Coast

From a hillside vineyard a few miles from the Pacific Ocean, grafted with budwood from vines that produce their Eterium. Planted in 2008 the vineyard has never been treated with weed herbicide; the rows are always hoed by hand.

Warm days, brisk nights and deep loamy soil provide this coastal site with ideal conditions for growing cool climate varietals naturally high in acidity. The result is a wine of terrific structure.
