3 Fonteinen 'Cuvée Armand & Gaston' is a blend of one-, two- and at least three-year old 3 Fonteinen brewed lambics. It is spontaneously fermented, matured in oak barrels, and then sees extended bottle aging and refermentation in bottle. It is unfiltered and unpasteurized.
For this specific geuze blend of ‘Cuvée Armand & Gaston’, 3 Fonteinen blended lambikken originating from five different barrels and six different brews. More than 50% of the brew volume contains Pajottenland grown cereals from their own Cereal Collective. The weighted average age of the hops is more than 17 years. With about 35% of the blend consisting of oude lambikken, this is quite a jonge (young) geuze.
