Winemaking Notes: The grapes are manually harvested. They macerate for 10 days before fermentation occurs in barrel. The wine ages in 50% new and 50% used barrels for 12 months. It ages further in bottle before release.

Tasting Notes: This 100% Malbec comes from a single vineyard that was planted in 1915 in Perdriel inside in the Lujan de Cuyo subregion of Mendoza. This terrior-driven wine shows notes of strawberry, leather and tobacco that are underscored by elements of earth and mineral-driven components.

The aromas of the wood (50% of the volume was aged in barrels) are felt in this simple and fluid Malbec for burgers.
