Familia Bonfanti is situated on a beautiful property with olive trees intermingled in the vineyards and views of the Andes to one side. It is a boutique, family-run micro-winery located in the Perdriel sub-region within the Lujan de Cuyo region in Mendoza, Argentina. Roberto, the father, manages the vineyard while his sons Sebastian and Alejandro are in charge, respectively, of the winemaking and the business operations.

The estate dates back to 1915 when the grandfather planted the first vineyard to Malbec. Today, the estate owns two small vineyards: one in Perdriel, Lujan de Cuyo that is planted to Malbec and one in Barrancas, Maipu that is planted to Cabernet Sauvignon. In 2005, the family completed it’s state of the art winery located on the property. Everything in the vineyard and cellar is done by hand, from harvest to bottling.

The aromas of the wood (50% of the volume was aged in barrels) are felt in this simple and fluid Malbec for burgers.
