About the Name: “Spolu” means together. The word itself has a strong meaning for us and our wine deserves this name because here we have white and red varieties together." - Nadja & Andrej

Terroir: This light red wine is from the Little Carpathians (Malokarpatská) region of southern Slovakia, in a picturesque village only a 10 minute drive outside the city limits of the Slovakian capital Bratislava.

Winemaking: Semi-carbonic (50% Blaufränkisch) fermentation combined with direct pressed juice of Riesling and destemmed Grüner Veltliner and Blaufränkisch (remaining 50%). Two weeks in 500 to 750-liter vats. Natural malolactic fermentation. Aged for 12 months in neutral oak barrels before bottling with no filtering, no fining, and tiny additions of SO2.
