Wine Notes: No additives are used of any kind in making this wine. This is pure, natural Xarel-lo! Partida Creus XL Xarel-lo is made from old vines planted on calcareous clay soils. Harvest is performed by hand. The grapes ferment spontaneously with native yeast in stainless steel tanks. It undergoes malolactic fermentation while aging on its fine lees. The wine is bottled unfilted, unfined, and without added sulfites.

Location Notes: This wine is from Baix Penedès (Maritime Penedès). Baix Penedès is characterized by its low-altitude location next to the Mediterranean Sea and beneath the coastal mountain range. It is here that the climate is more consistent, Mediterranean and warm.
