In a rather fresh harvest in the Quebrada de Humahuaca, this red seems light and almost fragile, with marked acidity and alcohol providing some body, amidst earthy and fruity aromas, and flavors of acidic red fruits and herbs. Grandes Parceleros de la Quebrada - Tilcara is the last of the El Bayeh village wines, also the last to harvest its grapes and the one at the highest altitude, at about 2,600 meters. This is a blend that is made from the fruit of 20 to 25 producers who contribute their Criollas grapes, mainly Criolla Grande and Criolla Chica.
