Vineyard Notes: Grapes are sourced from two sustainably farmed vineyards in the Uco Valley. One is located in Gualtallary in the Tupungato subregion and one is in San Pablo in the Tunuyan subregion. These are both high elevation vineyards with sandy, stony, and calcareous soils.

Winemaking Notes: 20% of the grapes for Alma4 Blanc de Blancs are fermented in a used 500-liter French barrel without malolactic fermentation. The wine spends 40 months on the lees. Tirage and second fermentation occur in the bottle according to the Champagne method. The wine is not fined or filtered.

Tasting Notes: The wine shows toasty notes of brioche on the nose with hints of white flowers and lemon peel. The wine is crisp with touches of green Apple on the palate that leads to a creamy, almond croissant finish.

The 2019 Alma 4 Chardonnay from San Pablo, Uco Valley was aged for 30 months and is a greenish yellow in the glass. It has a delicate nose of apple and pear along with clear hints of pastry and subtle hazelnut notes. In the mouth, the bubbles are coarse with an expansive flow and piquant, crunchy freshness before the flavorful, lengthy finish.
