Agustín Lopez, Mauricio Castro, Marcela Manini, and Sebastian Zuccardi are the team behind Alma 4. They first crossed paths at the Liceo Agrícola & Enológico School in Mendoza, Argentina, when they were just 17. Two years later, in 1998, the group produced their first 300 bottles of sparkling wine using the traditional method. Over 25 years later, the four friends are still creating exceptional sparkling wines together. They currently produce five distinct cuvées from vineyards situated in the Uco Valley.

The Uco Valley, more than any other subregion in Mendoza, is profoundly influenced by the Andes Mountains. With altitudes from 3,100 to 5,500 feet, the area offers cool temperatures, a continental climate, significant thermal amplitude, and incredibly pure light. The grapes for Alma 4’s wines are sourced from vineyards in La Carrera, San Pablo, Los Árboles, La Consulta, and Vista Flores.

Alma 4 produces some of the finest sparkling wines in South America, and we are honored to represent these exceptional wines in the USA.
