This wine is from a 50-year-old vineyard that is harvested later than the others, when they are close to over-ripeness. It stands apart with is rich and full taste. A perfect aperitif wine that you can also drink with scallops, shrimp, and grilled fish.

Winemaking Notes: This Muscadet has been matured on fine lees for 72 months (6 years) in an underground vat. Note that even with the extended lees aging, this wine cannot have “sur lie” written on the label because by law the wine must aged on lees between 5 and 14 months and no longer. The fermentation temperature is controlled with 2 to 3 stirrings in the first year.

Sustainability: Lutte raisonnée viticulture methods are employed in the vineyard with an aim to avoid chemical or mechanical intervention (certified sustainable by Terra Vitis).
