Founded in 1219, Château de Bois-Brinçon is one of the Loire Valley's oldest estates and today is led by Xavier and Géraldine Cailleau, the fifth generation of their family to farm the property. Located in the heart of Anjou, the 24-hectare estate is certified biodynamic and home to some of the region's oldest vines, including century-old plantings of Chenin Blanc, Grolleau, and Cabernet Franc.

The vineyards span a remarkable range of soils across several communes, allowing each parcel to express its own distinct identity. Xavier's philosophy of "vinification by terroir" emphasizes careful farming, low yields, and minimal intervention in the cellar. Native fermentations, gentle extraction, neutral vessels, and patient élevage preserve the purity, freshness, and character of each site.

The resulting wines are elegant, mineral-driven expressions of Anjou that highlight the diversity of the Loire while honoring centuries of tradition and stewardship.
