Pierre-Vincent Girardin is one of Burgundy's most exciting new generation winemakers. After thirteen generations of family grape growing in Santenay, Pierre-Vincent launched his own domaine in 2022, sourcing exceptional parcels from some of Burgundy's finest vineyards while continuing to build his own estate holdings.
Working with fruit from renowned villages including Meursault, Puligny-Montrachet, Chassagne-Montrachet, Corton-Charlemagne, Vosne-Romanée, Gevrey-Chambertin, and Chambolle-Musigny, Pierre-Vincent focuses on transparent, site-driven wines that highlight purity and precision over extraction or new oak. Farming emphasizes sustainable viticulture and meticulous vineyard work, with hand harvesting, native yeast fermentations, and élevage in carefully selected French oak, including larger-format barrels that preserve freshness and vineyard character.
The resulting wines are remarkably refined, balancing concentration with energy and minerality. Though still a young domaine, Pierre-Vincent Girardin has quickly earned a reputation as one of Burgundy's rising stars, producing wines that capture the elegance and distinct identity of each appellation.
