Provincia Patagonia Gin (86 proof) Login On Order

Provincia Gin was started by three friends who have known each other since they were four years old. Cristián Silva, Gustavo Carvallo, and Nicolás Muñoz visited Patagonia together on a vacation and fell in love with the place.

In 2017, master distiller and co-founder Gustavo Carvallo took the iniciative of creating Provincia Gin. An English friend, surprised by the landscape, flora, and botany of the Colchagua Valley, gave Gustavo the idea of distilling gin in Patagonia.

Within the O'Higgin region of Chile, the Colchagua Valley is an area recognized around the world for its excellent wines and culture. Provincia's distillery is located in the town of Puente Negro, San Fernando, surrounded by the spectacular endemic flora and fauna. This area is located at the foot of the Universidad Glacier, which is where the purity of Provincia's water and botanicals originates. In this mountainous area there is a unique botanical wealth, with more than 20 endemic botanicals, through which the pristine glacial water flows and descends the mountain slopes, providing freshness and purity, synonymous with their identity and constant search for the highest quality ingredients.

The botanicals in Provincia Gin are selected one by one, so that they are faithful representatives of the area in which they were collected. The magic begins when the muleteers, their sustainably managed mountain gatherers, come down from the Andes mountain range with herbs and fruits that are the inspiration for the base of Provincia Gin.

The distillery is located at the foot of the Andes Mountains, on the banks of the Río Claro. They work with 4 Chilean copper stills, manufactured in the commune of Molina in the Maule Region. Total production is over 1,200 liters, across 4 distinct gins.
