Cueva Nueva was launched in 2024 by Phi Peinado and David Neimanis, two Americans who had separately moved to Spain, intoxicated by the country's rich culinary heritage. Their shared love of Spain's food and beverage culture led them to create Cueva Nueva Vermouth, a Catalan-style vermut that respects tradition, but has been designed for the modern drinker.

Cueva Nueva's vermut rojo is fresh, complex, and bittersweet. With a variety of 88 botanicals including traditional Mediterranean herbs, wormwood, orange peel, and cinnamon, it hits the perfect balance of refreshment and warmth.

Cueva Nueva honors the tradition of Spanish vermut enjoyed in neighborhood tabernas, reimagined for the modern drinker. As a vibrant sweet vermouth it pairs perfectly in a classic cocktails like the Negroni and Manhattan, but truly shines when savored on its own - chilled on ice and garnished with an olive and an orange slice.
