For the long story short…it was in 1928, in his small village of Fabrezan, that Andre Carreau decided to take an interest in the virtues of the cinchona, a tree bark that comes from South America. After many attempts, he managed to combine cinchona with a mix of spices and plants, creating a unique assembly and his own Corbières recipe.

Since 2019, Aurélien Carrelas has been relaunching this authentic Aude aperitif with a bitter identity.
