Karine Mollenhauer and her husband, Edgar Carter have a family-run winery in the Maule Valley of Chile where they produce a few small-production wines from local grapes. Their idea is to elevate the reputation of Chilean wine through their hard work farming organically, with minimal intervention in the cellar. Everything is done by hand, with gravity (instead of pumps), free of synthetic chemicals, minimal intervention of the musts, and always unfiltered. Making pure wine which expresses the beautiful terroir where they reside between the Pacific Coast and the Andes Mountains.
