Small and maintaining a human scale, the Borgo Savaian estate covers a total of 18 hectares of Lutte raisonnée farmed vines alongside Mount Quarin. This is a family affair with deep ties to the local area Cormons, which is only 12 kilometers (7.5 miles) from the Slovenian border. The third generation, Stephen and sister Rosanna, is poised to take over the estate. The family focuses on farming indigenous varieties and is committed to a natural lifestyle that is in harmony with its surroundings. Aransat is Friulian slang for orange.
