Ghostrunner is a great tasting, rich red blend that is enjoyable anytime, any season, and with or without food. The blend changes slightly vintage to vintage, always with the goal of making a complex, fruit-forward, and well balanced red wine. The grapes are sourced from several vineyards throughout California's Central Valley.
The winemaker at Ghostrunner is Larry Levin. After completing his oenology degree at UC Davis, Larry spent 17 years at Dry Creek Vineyard. He then traveled the globe, making wine in New Zealand, Chile, and Australia in all styles and price points. He previously was the head of winemaking at Icon Estates, where he oversaw the Franciscan, Mt. Veeder, Robert Mondavi, Estancia, Ravenswood, and Quintessa brands.
