PerSe 2023 'Inseparable' Malbec, Monasterio

Vineyard Notes: Grapes come from PerSe's 4.2-acre Monasterio Vineyard. The soil is composed of gravel and sand with an incredible amount of calcium carbonate. The vineyard is located at 5,000 feet above sea level in the Gualtallary subregion of the Uco Valley in Mendoza.

Winemaking Notes: Grapes are manually harvested and destemmed. They are fermented with native yeasts in concrete and ages for 12 months before being bottled unfiltered.

"The 2022 Malbec Inseparable in sourced from the Monasterio hill in Gualtallary, capturing both the slopes and the lower areas. This oak-free wine is pure and purple in hue, revealing aromas of violets, lavender, plum, and blueberries, with a delicate layer of mountain herbs. Dry and smooth, it offers a concentrated yet nimble flow, featuring fine fruit and a long-lasting flavor. The slightly clingy texture is complemented by hints of grapefruit and herbs on the palate. It is a high-elevation wine with great purity and expression."
