Aged for 15 months in stainless steel tanks and then another seven months in bottle ahead of release, the 2023 Santorini Gramina shows well, gradually opening with prominent lemon zest, smoky stone dust, white flowers and hints of sea spray. Laced with verve and tension, the 2023 is underpinned by steely Assyrtiko acidity that cuts through everything like a knife, gliding out with vibrant energy on the long finish. Allow it two more years in bottle to fully come together.
