Cherry House Red is from the famed Villa Creek Cellars in western Paso Robles. This Rhone-style blend of Grenache, Carignan, Graciano and Mourvedre is from their MAHA estate and surrounding vineyards, all farmed naturally using organic principles.

Winemaking Notes: The grapes were fermented with native yeast in concrete and stainless steel for 3-4 weeks weeks prior to gentle pressing. Aged in French Oak (15% new) for 11 months.

Tasting Notes: Aromatics include plum, black raspberry, toffee, birch, bresaola and thyme. The palate is Rich and plush on the attack with notes of Bing cherry, huckleberry tart, and espresso. The finish is fresh and vibrant with fine tannins that persist.

"The 2021 red from Cherry House is intense, with a burst of crushed raspberries, sage and balsamic spice. This is round and supple with juicy acidity and dark red berries that flow across a core of stimulating acidity. It leaves a saturation of primary concentration, lingering incredibly long and spicy, yet this cleans up beautifully in the end."
