Vineyard Notes: Castelo do Mar is produced from a single vineyard located in Rías Baixas. The vineyard is 15 hectares in size. The Albariño vines are around 22 years old. Yields are kept low to achieve the best expression of this legendary grape. Harvest is manual.

Winemaking Notes: Grapes are immediately destemmed and pressed upon arrival into the winery. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled, stainless steel tanks with indigenous yeast. Malolactic fermentation does not occur. It is fined and filtered before bottling.
