Vineyard Notes: Roussanne, Marsanne, and Muscat blanc from Cecchini & Cecchini Vineyard (formerly The Urban Edge Farm), Knightsen, Contra Costa County; farmed according to organic principles (no pesticides, herbicides, or synthetic fertilizers); sandy clay soils.
Winemaking Notes: Marsanne, Roussanne, and Muscat blanc harvested together and briefly tumbled in the press for just a hint of skin contact before pressing, then fermented on full lees in stainless steel. The wine was then racked off lees to neutral oak barrique to continue aging for an additional 8 months before blending and bottling, and an additional 8 months in bottle before release. Unfined. Filtered for stability.
