Rogue Vine (1 L) 2022 Pipeno Tinto, Itata Valley

Vineyard Notes: Cinsault, País and Carignan grapes are harvested by hand from dry-farmed, old vine bush vines, some planted in the early 1800's. This coastal vineyard sits on decomposed granite and is organically farmed by hand and horse.

Winemaking Notes: Fermentation occurs spontaneously with indigenous yeast in concrete spheres including 10% whole cluster. The wine is aged for eight months in concrete spheres. The Pipeño Tinto is bottled without fining or filtration and with minimal SO2 added at bottling.

Tasting Notes: The Pipeño Tinto is a classic Southern Chilean field blend meant to be enjoyed as a young, fresh, vibrant wine. Juicy red fruit meets a bit of earth and smoke. Serve lightly chilled!
