Joel's Notes: “This Napa Zinfandel is a new addition to the Once & Future portfolio. This wine is a return to my early Ravenswood years when I produced wines with regional appellations from the barrels of wine that were left after assembling the Single Vineyard blends. This year I had enough Green and Red, Dickerson, and Palisades Petite Sirah left from the initial blends to put together a very stylish Zinfandel blend from Napa. As was the tradition at Ravenswood, this Napa wine is less expensive than the single vineyard wines.”

Vineyard Notes: 90-year-old vines from Green and Red, Dickerson and Palisades vineyards.

Winemaking Notes: Harvested between 9/3/2021 - 9/9/2021. Fermented in small open top Redwood fermentors with indigenous yeast. Oak regimen is 30% new and 70% used French oak barrels.

Tasting Notes: Scents of blackberries, plums and vanilla with hints of black pepper. Vibrant and balanced.
