Winemaking Notes: The Albamar Albariño is a blend of different vineyards, which are all composed of mainly sandy soil. Each parcel is fermented separately with native yeast in stainless steel tanks and neutral oak, but no malolactic fermentation. The Albariño is aged on its fine lees for about six months. There is light filtration at bottling.

Tasting Notes: Albamar's entry-level Albariño is a refreshing and pure wine showing great length and salty minerality. This tasty treat will pair well with your favorite seafood. Try ceviche, fish tacos, shrimp pasta, crab, sushi...the list is endless!

#82 on the Top 100 Wines of Spain 2021 (2020 Vintage) by James Suckling
" 93pts
Dried pineapple, salted lemon, roasted hazelnut, smoke and flint on the nose. It’s medium-bodied with tangy acidity. Vibrant, flinty and textured. Dried lemon on the long finish."

There is great regularity in the eponymous Albariño that blends different vineyards, bringing the freshness and the coastal influence into the wine. The 2022 Albamar, despite coming from a warmer and drier year, keeps a moderate alcoholic degree and has a balanced palate with the austerity of the granite, a little wider than the 2021 but still harmonious.
