Winemaking Notes: Grapes are harvested by hand and ferment spontaneously with indigenous yeasts. After 18 days of skin maceration, the grapes age for a few short months in stainless steel tanks.

About the Grape: Italia, the Peruvian name for Moscatel de Alejandría, is an ancient Greek grape variety that was widely cultivated in Spain before becoming one of the first to arrive in Peru. Now the most widely planted white vinifera variety in the country, Italia is prized for its intense aromatic qualities. This versatile grape is used in both Pisco and wine production, imparting lively floral and fruity aromas to the wines it produces.
