This delicious rosato is a blend of grapes from various historical vineyards in Valtellina. Barbacàn made this rosato out of love for their land and a passion for rescuing old vines of ancient local varieties that were erroneously forsaken and threatened to be forgotten. It is primarily Chiavennasca (local name for Nebbiolo) with various local favorites: Róssola, Rossolino Rosa, Brugnòla, Chiavennaschino, Pignòla, and Negrera. The elegance of Nebbiolo and the authenticity of the additional fruit form a flawless marriage that communicates the terroir. The average vine age is 40 years.
