Winemaking Notes: Semi-carbonic maceration occurs in stainless steel tanks (50% whole berries mixed with 50% juice). The wine ages in tank on fine lees for 5-6 months.
Tasting Notes: The three traditional Austrian red varieties—Zweigelt, Blaufränkisch, and Saint Laurent—come together to make this young, fruity, uncomplicated, and spicy red. A sprinkling of red berry fruit harmonizes with unobtrusive spice and forest floor. Tannins and acid balance each other nicely to create a juicy red wine.
