    The 2019 Burgenland Blaufränkisch Kalk & Schiefer is sourced from several vineyards within the Leithaberg DAC. It opens with a pure and polished, finely reductive and still bloody and meaty nose with aromas of dark berries, iron, delicate spices and floral notes. Silky and vital on the palate, this is a dense but first of all very fine and elegant red wine with delicate tannins and vivacious freshness.
